The Mutt is presently headed by the 17th Guru in succession, Dr. Sri Mummadi Shivarudra Swamiji, who is a scholar and orator in Sanskrit and Kannada. His work and progressive vision for the Mutt endeavors to meet the best satisfaction of every person.

Promoting Inclusive Unity Through Holistic Community Initiatives


The Mutt has made significant contributions to the construction of charitable and social initiatives in the fields of education, health, and environmental sustainability. These efforts aim to foster social unity and promote sustainable livelihoods, thereby contributing to the creation of an inclusive and unified society.

 The initiatives launched by the Mutt are aimed at fostering social reform and transformation through education.

 Vidya Peetha is a notable initiative that provides free, high-quality education, along with food and shelter, to over 1,000 children from local communities.

 The Mutt also offers programs that support students in their educational endeavors by providing free education, food, and hostel facilities while they study at various institutions outside the Mutt's purview.

The established Sri Shivayogi Munishwara Swamy Vidyapeetha Education Society currently operates over 16 educational facilities across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. These institutions offer primary and secondary education, skill development, and industrial training to children from low-income communities, without any discrimination based on caste or creed. 

In addition to its academic curriculum, the Mutt has initiated and consistently organizes various awareness programs to benefit local communities. These programs focus on child healthcare and environmental sustainability, covering areas such as agriculture and farming, Swachh Bharat, blood donation camps, Stree Yojanagalu, and more.
